About
A bit about me beyond the code.
Currently
Finishing my B.S. in Computer Science at Wentworth — graduating August 2026.
Hometown
I grew up in York, Maine. It's a small coastal town that runs on the ocean, the rhythm of the seasons, and the community. The pull toward nature and exploration is still the strongest current outside of code, and most of how I think about building things traces back to growing up around people who built or fixed what they needed themselves.
Before code
Before I wrote production software, I spent five years at Nor'East Bait, LLC — a small, locally-owned York outfit that distributes lobster bait to local fishermen. I supervised teams of up to six, managed perishable inventory, and handled quality control before the boats went out at sunrise. It was a hands-on education in logistics, accountability, and what it takes to keep a small operation moving for the community that depends on it.
Outside of CS
Outside of code I surf, snowboard, and play guitar — usually building tracks end-to-end in Logic Pro when I want to take an idea from a riff to a finished mix. I picked up rugby my first year at Wentworth and have been on the men's team since. Most of what I do for fun ends up being either outdoors or making something from scratch.
